Held at the Changi Exhibition Centre grounds last April 27, 2008, Formula Drift Singapore was the circuit’s very first championship to take place outside of North America. More than 37 drifters competed for the Championship trophy. Besides local talent, spectators witnessed the dazzling skills of professional drifters from US, Japan, New Zealand and Thailand.
Goodyear is very excited in to sponsor this exciting and new motor sports competition. Goodyear Malaysia and Singapore were given this opportunity to work with Binter & Co Pte Ltd who is the official organizer for this event.
Binter has the rights to this event in Asia Pacific and it is expected that the Formula Drift will be held in Malaysia and Thailand soon.
