Goodyear clinches the Brand Laureate Award under the automotive category
Goodyear has emerged as Asia Pacific's Best Brand for brand excellence in the automotive category at the recent Brand Laureate 2006-07. The inaugural regional award is recognition of Goodyear's strong branding mission for innovation, quality and a sharp market focus.

In its active pursuit of innovation, Goodyear Malaysia and worldwide have been accorded QS and ISO/TS16949 quality certifications. In Malaysia, the Goodyear brand is the undisputed market leader commanding 77% overall brand satisfaction and 86% brand loyalty (TNS SMART Study 2006).

Goodyear has previously won multiple awards from leading automotive companies, such as, the Toyota's Outstanding Quality Performance, Honda's Best Delivery Performance, Proton's Best Overall Performance as well as Perodua's Quality Vendor and Quality Performance Award.
The Brand Laureate Awards is the first regional brand award to originate from Malaysia, covering various industries and categories from multinationals to the local small and medium industries and small and medium enterprises. Winners are decided based on criteria's which include brand strategy/identity and brand culture. 72 winners had been selected from 300 nominees including 50 from countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
